Privacy notice

Updated 18 September 2026

This notice explains how Brandeal uses personal information when you enquire about or use our business content service.

Who is responsible

Brandeal is the controller for enquiry, customer and business administration records. Postal address: 50 Beechwood Terrace, LS4 2NG, United Kingdom. Contact brandealbusiness@gmail.com.

Information and purposes

Providing enquiry information is voluntary. Without essential contact and order details we may be unable to respond or provide a service. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using automated profiling.

Source material and AI

Please send only material you have permission to use, with confidential information and identifiable workshop-participant details removed. We use AI-assisted drafting and source checks. We do not submit customer correspondence, payment information or participant personal data to drafting tools. If your project requires processing personal data on your behalf, we will first agree a separate data-processing arrangement and approved tools.

Service providers

Google provides our Gmail correspondence service. Website delivery uses OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure, including Cloudflare. Stripe processes information entered into its hosted checkout. For completed payments, we receive transaction and billing records, not full card numbers. Providers can process information outside the UK under their applicable arrangements. Ask us for details about the providers and transfer safeguards relevant to your enquiry or order before sending sensitive information.

Provider notices: Google, OpenAI, Cloudflare and Stripe. We may also disclose necessary records to professional advisers or authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We review unsuccessful enquiries and unused prospect research for deletion after 90 days. Source and draft working copies are normally deleted 30 days after final acceptance, unless a different period is agreed. We retain necessary order, complaint and accounting evidence for applicable legal obligations; tax records are normally kept for at least five years after the relevant 31 January filing deadline. A dispute or legal requirement may require longer retention. We retain a minimal opt-out record to avoid contacting someone who has objected.

Cookies and links

Our site code does not add analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The enquiry form prepares email text within your browser; it does not submit or store the entries. If you use Copy enquiry, the text is copied to your clipboard. We receive the enquiry only when you send the email. Hosting and security providers may handle technical data needed to serve the site. Clicking an email link opens your email application. Following an external payment or other link brings you under that provider's notice.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, request portability, and object to processing. If consent is used, you can withdraw it. To make a request or complain, email us above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We review this notice when our service or providers change.
